The COM / USB interface for photocells is a device that allows you to connect one, two, three or four photocells directly to a computer through the RS232 connector.
It is a cheap chronometer alternative. However, it requires using a computer while taking the measurement.
The accuracy of time measurement depends on the performance of the computer and operating system, maximum 0.01 sec.
Works with the simple software
Sectro OneLap , enabling current measurements and saving the results in a spreadsheet file. Connection with photocells or start gates via a banana cable.
Depending on the number of photocells connected, it allows:
1 Photocell:
- Measurement of time or speed on a closed track (start and finish at the same place)
2 Photocells (or photocell and start gate):
- Time or speed measurement along any track (start and finish anywhere)
3 photocells (or 2 photocells and start gate):
- Measurement of time and / or speed together with intermediate time (response time etc.)
Features: b>
- Eight banana sockets (NO)
- Cable with RS232 connector to the computer
- Measurement accuracy up to 0.01s
