The ProPulse LR-5000 receiver is a component of the innovative
ProPulse communication system. The radios are hardware-compatible with the older HR1100 series (no mixing transmitter–receiver), yet they offer significantly more capabilities.
Compact dimensions and mounting accessories make quick setup of the kit easy. You can place the radio upright, lay it on a stand, attach a clip to the most popular slalom poles, or tie it with a cable tie to anything.
You connect it to a photocell or other starter using a standard two-wire banana cable.
Technology and Parameters
Thanks to its flexibility and computing power, the device supports a range of configuration options that allow you to adapt it to your needs. All settings are pre-saved, so you either don't change them or configure them once (almost always) using the multifunctional knob and OLED screen. This allows you to set and view:
- Transmit power of response/ repeat
- Frequency channel
- Bandwidth
- Spreading spectrum
- Soft channel: start, finish, intermediate time functions, etc.
- Transmission test – sending a frame to all devices in the group
- Display of received data and battery charging status

Development Roadmap
Since the LR-5000 transmitter has vast hardware resources, we plan further development of this system. In the near future, we want to implement among others:
- Selection of predefined group with one click (sets all transmission parameters)
- Time synchronization with TimeMaster chronometer system
- Repeater function – transmitting measurement through multiple points without losing measurement accuracy
- Increase in peak (instantaneous) power to 28 dBm and range up to 10 km
- LR-5000 receiver connecting to TimeMaster chronometer via Bluetooth 5.0
- Solar charging and power supply
