Applications
The siren can be used in timing systems where the start is from a standstill, and the referee gives the start signal by assessing the competitor's readiness. The siren offers extensive customization and configuration options, making it suitable for various applications, including short-distance races, athlete testing, reaction time assessments, and car rally starts.
It can be used outdoors even in challenging conditions due to its high volume, and indoors, for example, by reducing sound power.
The sound sequence can be triggered remotely (via cable) or controlled by a computer (rs232/rs485).
It can work with single-point (Green/None),
two-point (Green/Red) or
five-point (starting tree) starting lights.
The siren's operation is configured using the
CONFIG button on the housing. Press and hold the button while counting the siren signals to set the individual functions:
- 1 beep - single start signal
- 2 beeps - start sequence - three signals, start on the third
- 3-4-5 - sequence speed
- 6,7 - siren volume
Details on configuration are available in the documentation.
